How we made the home buying process simple and fun for Andy

Weena -“Working with them is like a breeze. We got the perfect results that [we] were actually expecting. Working with them is like somebody’s holding your hand every step of the way because we’re first-time homebuyers and we’re very overwhelmed with the entire process. So they made sure that they [were] there for us and we feel that they’re looking after us at every step of the way from [the] documents to the weekly videos that Dwight is [sic] doing for us and also for a lot of the negotiations with the builders. When we were really close at the closing of the house, we wanted to put it off, but we really needed to talk to them so we just texted them. And what happened was Sharon and Dwight I think was [sic] attending a class at that point, but Sharon stepped out of that classroom and then made sure that all our questions about the documents for the closing are [sic] all answered before going back to the class. She could have just probably give [sic] us a call later, but she felt that it’s [sic] important that she answer that time. So whenever we text, call, or anything they just respond so fast to us. For us, [we were] very new to the home buying process. We were really, really thankful that they’re there at every step of the way.”

James -“I actually was just going on the web looking for brokers down in Florida and I saw their website and I saw all the positive reviews that they had. So I gave them a call and right from the outset I spoke to Sharon initially and like I said the initial process of doing the search, what we were looking for, providing the information so that I could make an educated decision on a long-distance basis so that when I got down there we were all set up to go and look and they made the process very, very hassle-free and stress-free or as much as it could be given the fact that we were doing something long-distance. They go out of their way to make sure that you get the right home in the right location. They are very honest people, very helpful people, and anything that you need, they will provide for you. Nothing is too over the top in terms of if you’re asking them if they could do something for you additionally as a result of you buying long distances. It wasn't anything that they turned down any kind of a request and whatnot, and so I think the main thing would be I get the vibe that they’re very honest people, very helpful people and they truly want to make sure that you are happy with the home that you purchase. The situation that I’m in is that I’m in New York and we’re buying a house down in Florida, and because I really couldn't do anything with my wife being disabled, they were very, very helpful in locating contractors for me to have work done on the home. And in terms of arranging meetings with the guy and also doing some searching for me with respect to getting somebody down there. And they also came to the home while the person was there, and then they’ve been checking up on the work that’s getting done while we closed on the house. They’ve been going through the house, checking up, sending me videos and whatnot. They took videos of the home to show my wife because she wasn’t able to come down there when I went down to purchase it. So they went above and beyond normally what I would figure a broker would do.”

Don -“My wife and I, we came out to the St. John’s, St. Augustine area to look for a home, and Sharon and Dwight were real estate folks we contacted through my daughter and my son-in-law who had them also, and Dwight decided that he just started to show us around and introduce us to an area we’ve never been to because we’re from Pennsylvania. Once we walked around, he showed us all these developments, we found what we were looking for, and then we went back to Pennsylvania. and probably about a month-and-a-half later, we started the process of purchasing our home, and again Dwight and Sharon were very instrumental in putting together the bidding process for our home, and once that was accomplished, they guided us with some additional things that we weren't aware of that helped us with purchasing our home. Dwight and Sharon were there because we were in Pennsylvania, and Dwight on a weekly basis would check our house because it was under new construction. He would do a video and send us the video that kept us in the loop and kept us informed with what was going on throughout the construction process of our new house until closing. So for my wife and I, it was a great experience. I have a brother-in-law who lives in Pennsylvania who is very interested in coming out here to Florida, I would direct him to contact Dwight because Dwight would be the guy who shows them because they’re not familiar with the area just like my wife and I and introduces them to the St. Augustine and St. John’s area.”

Mike -“They were very pleasant to work with, very professional, extremely thorough, very very accessible, which is important because I’m on the road a lot, I’m not able to be there for everything, and so they made sure they were the ones tracking me down and keeping me up to speed, which is really helpful. I would just tell them that they’re a great team. They’re very knowledgeable about the business that they’re in. and they really care about their clients and go above and beyond to really make sure that we're satisfied clients.”

Sabrina -“First of all my situation was very different since I was trying to find a house for my son and daughter-in-law who were living in California and wanting to purchase a house before they were moving to Florida. So even though I felt pressured dealing with this situation, as soon as I met Dwight and Sharon, I felt very reassured and positive rapport with both of them and realized that the team had very special and unique qualities and that we were in good hands. Sharon’s expertise in the housing market, as well as her listening and communication skills, made such as tremendous difference through this process since she was always taking into account my feedback on the various listings. Her personal attitude and grasp of this area made it very easy to find a house I thought they would love, not to mention Sharon’s videos of every aspect of the house inside and out made quite an impression on my son and daughter-in-law in California. In addition, Dwight’s extensive knowledge of construction, as well as his personal and professional dealings with the contractors, made this long-distance purchase as seamless as possible. He not only helped with every aspect of buying this house, but he has repeatedly checked in with them since their move and offered his help and advice on every aspect of this house. Sharon’s negotiation skills were amazing and Dwight’s constant presence through the walkthroughs and rapport with the builders gave me constant reassurance and eased my mind during this process. Their advice and professionalism and also their follow-through along every aspect of this coast-to-coast real estate purchase could not have been handled any better. They surpassed every expectation I could have. But the most important aspect of this team that makes them so successful is their professional and positive rapport and the mutual respect with construction team members since I’ve never seen negotiations go so smoothly. It was obvious that the contractors were very willing to negotiate and work with this amazing team.”

We were able to find a house on our own and then they helped us actually look at it, negotiate it, and all of those details. We were able to buy the first house that we had our heart set on and we got it at a good price! They met with us on the drop of a dime. They met us in the evening and they did a lot of stuff for us since we were still out of town when we actually bought it… It was extremely helpful especially since we weren’t able to do all of those things ourselves."

Beena -"The results that we got were beyond excellent because of their work ethics, their knowledge, the way they coordinate together, and their understanding of where the customer is coming from when buying a new home. They do everything to make sure that the services that they provide are less stressful for the buyer. So, for us, the results were, like I said, beyond excellent. We bought a brand new home and when we went through closing we had an issue with the house where we had a water leak and they went above and beyond, talked to the builder, to make sure most of the issues were handled. They continued to help us out as buyers to make sure that the house was properly built and that the issues were resolved promptly as well as correctly."

Frank -"Well, first of all, I selected them because they were buyers only and I felt that they represented my interest and no one else’s. They did a great job in helping me find a house in one day. After the closing, they’ve just been terrific! Dwight helped out with a lot of things like I had a broken sprinkler head. I wasn’t living in the house at the time and Dwight came over and took care of it. He gave me a lot of suggestions on things to do and was just very, very helpful.They did a great job and earned every penny that they got. They really went well beyond what you would expect from your real estate agent."

Maria -"Well, we saw ourselves as very fortunate that on our first trip down to St. Augustine we lucked out by meeting Dwight and Sharon. They are phenomenal! They did everything we needed them to do and more. We had the best experience in the purchase of our house with their help. I’m not sure that we would have gotten the deal and the entire package without their help. Any time that we needed anything they were talking with the builder, they were talking with the contractor. They would come by to make sure that progress was being made in the home. They sent us a video as different things that were promised to us were added. We had a couple questions so I called up Dwight and he ran over to the house and looked up the things that we needed. Every detail was taken care of. If they didn’t know an answer they would find out the answer. I had such confidence in them and it made me feel great being over 1,000 miles away."
